Tax Preparation Site

Organized by Ceiba, a mobile, free income tax preparation site was located on APM’s 6th and Diamond office during the tax season. This site provided residents information about the benefits of free tax preparation as well as the various asset-building resources in the area. Taxpayers who received services from the site were informed of the Earned Income Tax Credit, which is particularly important for low to middle-income residents.

Ceiba received $3,000 from LISC’s Early Action Grant program for this project.
